All these include countries like America, Russia, and New Zealand, and China, India, is also in this race.

Forests cover about 4 billion hectares of land or say 30% of the earth.  Forests cover about 6 billion or 15 million miles and Russia, Canada, China, America cover about 2% of all the earth's forest, while Congo and Chile cover 1.8% of it.  Forests cover 30% of the Earth's surface including mangroves, tropical forests, boreal surpluses and this forest is 2% larger than countries like America, China, Russia, Brazil, etc. In terms of field, China has prevented the spread of Gobi desert.  Has planted the world's largest artificial forest and has got 2800 by 1074.

There are hundreds of Arab trees in the forests.  And scientists believe the same and the internal estimate of 3 trillion trees is 1.6 trillion in tropic and sub-tropic, 700 billion trees in boreal areas and 600 billion trees in temperature areas.  It is estimated that about 15.3 billion trees are cut each year and about 46% of the world's trees are cut down in the last 12 years.

If seen in a way trees are immortal.  Methusalah, a Bristlecone pine tree of the White Mountains of California, is considered the oldest tree in the world and has a lifespan of 5000 years and is not a precise location of the tree.  There is also a tree in Kolkata, India which is 2000 years old.
